"It's a Small World"

We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of quilters from Bookham, Leatherhead and Ashtead that enjoy quilting and patchwork.  Mole Valley Quilters meet on the 1st Thursday of the month at the Old Barn, 63 church Street, Bookham KT23 3PQ at 7.15pm for 7.30pm.

We have a full Programme of events, discuss all aspects of quilting, have outside speakers several times a year, sewing evenings and workshops.  We also produce a Monthly Newsletter.

Our group is not only about the pleasure of sewing but also the enjoyment of meeting one another and sharing our interests, knowledge and skills.  

Membership of Mole Valley Quilters

We  have 52 Members but we are always delighted to welcome new members.

The Membership Fee is 38 and is due in April, visitors are charged 5.00.   If you would like to join as a visitor, new member or require more information please send us an email on our Contact Us page.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported Mole Valley Quilters and Dorking Quilters  at their 2018 Exhibition held at St Nicolas's Church in Bookham.   Please see a few of our pictures of our Exhibition in the Gallery.

Congratulations to Ruth Archer on gaining 3rd Prize with the Exe Valley Group Quilt at the Festival of Quilts.  Former member of MVQ Penny Armitage master minded this "Dry Stone Wall Quilt". Please see gallery.

Congratulations to Nadia Cadby who has been appointed Area Representative for Surrey.

Fire Challenge 2019

Our Challenge Fire was judged at the Christmas Party.  1st was Karuna Lawrence, 2nd Ruth Archer and 3rd Sue Pindar. For Karuna's winning challenge please see Gallery.  

Congratulations to  all members who took part in the Challenge with amazing results!  Well done.

Australia - Support the Bush Fire effort

As an affiliated member of the Quilters' guild we have been asked to make a square for quilts to be sent to families in Australia who have lost everything in the terrible bush fires. Al patterns and details were given to us and a big thank you to those members who have made a 'block'.  Please see gallery for pictures.
