QUILT SHOWS 2021/2022

UPDATE 03/06/2021 We have decided to postpone the Newark and Duxford July shows to 2022 (spring dates to be confirmed shortly). We will be concentrating our efforts on shows starting in September 2021 when visitors and traders will be able to have a more enjoyable quilt show experience. All tickets already purchased can be used for any other show this year or for next year’s new dates. If you have not yet received your tickets, please bear with us whilst we start posting out tickets booked since March 2020. Please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page in the lead up to shows in case there are any changes. Tickets are now available to book online.

The Great Northern Quilt Show will not include a competitive element this year, but everyone who entered a quilt can transfer their entry fee to 2022 or exchange their entry fee for tickets.

If you have purchased tickets for any show which has been postponed to 2022, we kindly ask that you hold onto your ticket and use it for any other show this year or next year and this will help us to continue hosting shows in the future. If you have not received your tickets yet, please bear with us whilst our staff return from furlough and prepare to post tickets out to you.

Procedures will be in place at our shows for a Covid-safe environment to comply with government guidelines at the time of the show; these may change depending on whether the government changes the restrictions, but for now, these are the procedures that we propose. Masks/face coverings will be required in any indoor space (unless exempt). Hand-sanitising stations will be available at the entrance and around the hall. There will be increased cleaning of the toilet facilities and high-touch areas. Visitors can check-in using the NHS Track and Trace app. Visitors will not be allowed to touch any of the display quilts.

Most of our staff are still currently furloughed so we are unable to take telephone orders, but orders can be placed via the website or tickets can be purchased on the day. We anticipate that our staff will be able to return in the next few weeks when we can start taking telephone orders again. We look forward to seeing you soon! Grosvenor Shows
